So I launched my blog, Travel Is My Religion to share my experiences and tips, but most of all inspire people to travel. I knew that the travel blog community would be something that I had to try and network in to become a successful blogger. In researching travel blogger communities, I learned about Travel Bloggers Unite, a community and network of travel bloggers from around the world. Here I was able to read and learn about successful travel bloggers like Brookevstheworld and Adventurous Kate, solo women travelers just like myself. In keeping up with TBU, I learned that they would have a conference in Rotterdam, NL to bring together travel bloggers around the world, travel industry and travel PR companies. It would be 4 days of workshops and networking. Of course I decided to go because I wanted to learn not only how to make my blog successful, but also how to build my brand and branch into other things.
Fast forward and I've been in Rotterdam for the last 4 days. I must say I learned a lot from selling myself, to networking, to developing skills in content, branding, and branching out. I've met bloggers form around the world that blog in different areas in travel and have made new friends.

I have so many ideas in my head that I can't wait to implement! I will continue to post on this blog in the meantime but stay posted I the summer!
